We had our first MHS Class of 89 20 year reunion meeting last night. Attendance was meager, but it didn't stop us from having a good time reminiscing about the good ol' days!
Since we graduated on June 13, it was suggested that we hold our reunion on the same day, which happens to fall on a Saturday. Many who are off island need to plan, so setting a date is most urgent. Please share with us your thoughts on this proposed date and make comments below.
Our next meeting will be on Friday, February 6, at the Propst residence in Susupe, but we can also hold it at someone else's house if they would like to volunteer their place. For more info, please call 483-7361.
Go 89ers!
Regards,
Ed Propst

For the record, Mr. Ralph Yumul was also present at this meeting.
Hello All,
Great photo of you guys. June 13th sounds like an ideal date. It should give us mainlanders enough time to make plans as long as we have enough notice. Please keep us updated so that we can try to get our airline tickets early.
Have you considered doing an online chat room type session during the next reunion meeting? If we can get the logistics right some off island 89ers may be able to provide some input for the next meet. We will also continue to check for updates on the mhsblogspot site.
It's great seeing your picture and look forward to the next post.
Par, thank you for that reminder. Yes, Ralph was there, but was camera shy..hehe.
Fellow MHS 89er, thanks for your comments. That is an awesome recommendation. We should be embracing technology and using it to our advantage. What chat room do you recommend? How about facebook or google chat or something? Let me know.
I think maybe facebook would be good since alot of 89ers should be on. I have never tried google chat but that might work as well. We will just need a date and time and we can post it on facebook and myspace to invite anyone out of town.
Facebook is the medium of communication these days. Come to think of it, I haven't checked my myspace in probably a year! Hmmm, I don't even remember my password!
